Objectives

Through the implementation of the project, ULBS aimed to achieve several objectives such as increasing the level of internationalization by meeting sustainability, green education, inclusion, diversity, and digitalization criteria. Among the quantitative objectives achieved in the project, we mention a 40% increase in mobility compared to the previous project and an increase in the rate of accessing BIPs (Blended Intensive Programmes) from 0 to 26. According to the high scores regarding satisfaction following the mobilities, we highlight the improvement of the educational experience for students in terms of grade and credit conversion in different systems, with a percentage of 83%, and the full recognition of studies completed during mobility with a percentage of 82%, as well as the full academic recognition of internship placements, which reached 100%. Therefore, there is a significant correlation between the project's objectives and ULBS's internationalization strategy, which focuses on student-centered education. The expansion and diversification of cooperation agreements, as well as the creation of new agreements, have led to the development of collaboration opportunities with new European universities. Additionally, ULBS aimed to increase the overall number of mobilities, especially for students. In this regard, during the project, the Erasmus+ Office intensified methods of promoting and encouraging students to participate in Erasmus+ mobility. An important element was the intense promotion of the opportunity for students to apply for a short-term mobility for the first time. This contributed to increasing students' confidence in their ability to adapt in an international context. We hope that this will contribute in the future to a growing interest in study mobilities and the improvement of students' overall educational experience. The project also had a major impact on strengthening relations within the university alliance of which ULBS is part. Active participation in the projects of the European FORTHEM Alliance and the involvement of the academic and student community in various actions (Short-term Mobilities, Joint Intensive Programs) of the alliance expanded the knowledge and interaction sphere among the nine partner universities, encouraging co-creation and collaboration, and providing clarity in establishing the common objectives of the alliance. At the same time, through these actions and effective communication within the alliance, ULBS's visibility abroad increased, particularly within the FORTHEM Alliance, all of which align with ULBS's internationalization strategy.
