Objectives

By implementing the Erasmus+ project at Tibiscus University in Timișoara, several essential objectives were pursued. Tibiscus University in Timișoara aims to become a center of excellence in the process of internationalizing education, leveraging partnerships and international cooperation. Through the Erasmus+ Office, the institution places a special emphasis on creating an inclusive, innovative, and multilingual educational environment, adapted to the requirements of the European Education Area. The main objective of the university is to integrate international expertise in teaching, research, and innovation, thus offering students and staff opportunities for academic and personal development. Erasmus+ projects are a key tool in achieving this objective, contributing to the improvement of linguistic, digital, and especially interpersonal skills. Among the university's strategic development directions, the Erasmus+ Office focuses on the following aspects: - Supporting language learning and integrating language awareness into education – The project facilitated access for students and staff to international mobility, collaboration, and knowledge exchange opportunities, thus contributing to the university’s academic prestige and the development of a partnership network; - Preparing students for future challenges by acquiring essential digital skills – Through participation in Erasmus+ programs, students have developed linguistic, digital, and interpersonal skills essential for employability in the labor market and adapting to a constantly changing world; - Developing the capacity to adapt to new skills and promoting active citizenship and an entrepreneurial spirit; - Promoting diversity and intercultural understanding to develop an open and collaborative academic community; - Emphasis was placed on creating mobility opportunities for students with fewer resources and ensuring equal access to international educational programs, thus promoting social inclusion. The university encourages and supports academic mobility for both students and academic and non-academic staff, with a special focus on supporting those with fewer opportunities. Additionally, the institution supports the implementation of transnational learning programs, such as joint courses or integrated studies, to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices at the international level. These efforts contribute to the development of a modern, sustainable education focused on social inclusion, employability, and active citizenship, preparing students for an interconnected global future. Overall, the main goal of the project was to improve the quality of education and research, stimulate intercultural exchanges, and develop and prepare students for various personal and professional challenges.
