This project was implemented in very close connection with the previous activities that our organization implemented in the last 5 years. This is the second year of accreditation in the field of Youth and marks a consolidation of our activities on preventive education on addictions and healthy relationships, working methodology and team roles. We completed the transition to the framework of accredited organization, considering that the project was implemented partly in parallel with the first year of accreditation. The project confirmed our profile of provider of preventive education activities at local and national level, as well at the level of the partner organizations. We continued to work with our traditional partners and extended the cooperation with new contacts. The topics of this project refer to preventive education, healthy relationships and personal growth among teenagers, with a consistent focus on teenagers who are facing vulnerabilities. It touches right from the beginning the main objectives of the E+ Youth Accreditation, that came directly from our beneficiaries’ needs, such as occurrence of abusive behavioural patterns related to addictive substances and violence, low level of self-esteem and self-confidence, low level of participation and social engagement. We prioritized the importance of resilience and self-esteem, self-awareness as key ingredients for developing a critical attitude towards abusive behaviours and relational hygiene, all with the goal of building a balanced and healthy lifestyle among youngsters. For this project, the activities were more related to the facet of building healthy relationships among teenagers, with a clear focus on preventive education on addictions and unhealthy behaviours. In addition to these, we worked consistently on raising self-esteem and self-confidence among youngsters. The objectives of this project were: - Achieving a high level of quality for the work delivered on preventive education and healthy relationships for minimum six organizations active in the field of youth from six different countries + IPTA (RO). - Equipping with competences and NFL tools a minimum of 25 YW on preventive education and healthy relationships by the end of the project; - Developing a critical attitude of importance of preventive education and healthy relationships for minimum 60 teenagers from six different countries + Romania. Our approved project envisaged 106 participants, including facilitators and Group Leaders (GLs), which was exceeded mainly due to the budget availability and reconfiguration. We increased the number of activities and reframed the Activity Plan following the concrete experience of the first year of accreditation. More precisely, we wanted to work with smaller groups for both types of activities, YEs and PDAs, considering that this approach increased the quality of the activities to a very visible extent. Our plan for these 7 years covers three main directions: working directly with vulnerable youngsters and young adults, equipping youth workers with competences and methods and creating local support for effectively and timely implementation. We achieved a high level of quality of our activities, a fact endorsed by the participants and validated by the partners as they continued to work with us for the upcoming year of accreditation. The partners played a very important role in the implementation, a big part of the success of the project was achieved due to their engagement. They contributed massively to the selection and preparation of the participants, logistics and transportation, input to the working methodologies during the activities and many other aspects, as follows. We also developed a routine of monitoring the engagement of our team and volunteers, the internal level of satisfaction and our own learning process. This led to a consolidation of our working capacity, increased individual autonomy in implementing the activities, reduced time for arranging logistics and follow-up activities, more dynamic resource allocation and distribution and more rapid task allocation.
