“Green Future” was a youth exchange involving participants from 4 partner countries: Romania, Poland, Italy, Spain. The initial motivation for starting this project was to offer the young people from our young organisations the tools and methods to find out more about human’s impact on nature, integrate positive eco habits in our lives and spreading awareness on the importance of protecting nature. The Green Future project aim was to help young people discover ways to become more connected with nature and learn how to protect it. Our objectives were met, according to the general observations, the feedback received and the practical results: 1. During the 19 months of the project, the 28 young people involved developed their knowledge regarding ecology, nature and sustainability, 2. learned by experience how to promote and implement local activities that protect nature: understanding the eco-system, organizing clean up campaigns, reducing their carbon footprint, 3. Included and practiced environmentally friendly habits in their daily routine, 4. with involvement in all project activities, the participants developed a more proactive attitude, they would feel more connected with nature and they would be more motivated to protect nature and raise awareness on ecology.
