Through this project, we aimed to deepen our understanding of the experiences and relationships with those who are different from us, who have a different set of values, reducing extremism and radicalization. A key factor in the process of cultural exchange was that it required us to meet, confront, explore, appreciate, and respect differences. Moreover, we wanted to understand the discrepancy between radicals and reformers and become aware of the importance of moderate opinions as long as we did not exceed a certain level of understanding of sensitive issues that society faces. We aimed to comprehend the concept of radicalism and highlight the difference between it and the notions of equity, equality, and privilege. We wanted to cultivate an objective and moderate critical thinking based on realities, not extremist opinions that are easily accessible due to digital radicalism. With these in mind, we set up the following objectives: Goal: Reducing radicalism and extremism among young people. Objectives: 1. Cultivating critical, objective, and factual thinking for 28 young people throughout the project. 2. Raising awareness of the social, economic, cultural, and educational mechanisms behind radicalism and extremism for 28 young people during the project. 3. Increasing motivation among 28 young people to get involved in promoting the reduction of extremism and radicalism in society during the project.
