“Build it up” was a Training Course that took place in Busteni from 25 March to 1 April 2023. The coordinator of this project was ASK Yourself Romania. The partners who wrote and implemented the project were: Young Wave - Poland, ASOCIACIÓN PROMESAS Promotora de Metodologías Educativas para una Sociedad Alternativa y Sostenible - Spain, Collippo - Associação Juvenil - Portugal and Associazione di Promozione Sociale Passepartout.up - Italy. This project was designed to help all the youth workers and teachers who want to enhance their skills in team management and team building.Our goal with this course was to assist youth workers in developing their competences in team management and team building. This training course started as a solution to an often-overlooked need of our young people today. In this world, full of distractions, where values often are mixed and confused, young people struggle to find their way in society. The once clear “role models”, have become very confusing in their message and example. A lot of superficial philosophies and ways of existence are competing for young people's attention every day. Our aim was to improve youth workers competences on team development and team management, in their work with young people. Our objectives were: 1. Developing the 25 youth workers knowledge regarding team management, leadership, communication, and conflict management within a group of young people. 2. Improving the 25 youth workers skills in implementing a minimum of 5 non-formal education methods about team building, trust building, communication, and conflict management. 3. Helping the 25 youth workers to improve their confidence in managing groups of young people with the help of non-formal education methods and develop a proactive attitude towards conflict management.
