The demand for Erasmus mobility is currently increasing, but unfortunately there are still barriers in organising the mobilities. Beneficiaries desire a greater diversity in terms of mobility and certain changes in academic education as the society is changing. These changes may occur as a result of the implementation of an increasing number of Erasmus mobilities at the level of each university. The academic performance of a university is supported by international cooperation activities. Teaching and staff training mobilities are a way to provide the opportunity to develop human resources through these international experience exchanges. Universities are facing new opportunities and challenges in terms of international academic education. These mobility exchanges ensure a constant exchange of ideas that is vital for the future of international academia.
