Our university's Internationalisation Strategy provides for the progressive and continuous strengthening of the partnership network in the Erasmus+ programme partner countries. This was the main objective in the implementation of the project. The planned activities included teaching and training mobilities in universities from Region 1 – Western Balkans (countries: Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina), followed by universities from Region 2 – Neighbouring East (country: Republic of Moldova), Region 3 – South-Mediterranean countries (country: Israel), Region 5 – Asia (country: Thailand), Region 10 – Latin America (countries: Uruguay and Chile), and Region 12 – USA and Canada (country: United States of America). The project also contributed to intensifying the internationalisation process both within our university and within the extended partnership network. Another key objective was to resume academic cooperation with those universities where, for various reasons, the pace of joint activities had significantly slowed down. We consider that all these objectives have been achieved, although the global geopolitical context posed major challenges to the smooth implementation of the project throughout its entire duration.
