Objectives

The objectives set for this project are the result of the analysis carried out by the school in Achicanta, respectively CNAM, but also in technological high schools with which we collaborated in this project by inviting students from the rural environment to participate accompanied by 2 VET teachers from these high schools, in order to stimulate entrepreneurial initiatives among students. Our project helps to fulfill the European educational objectives regarding the initiation and national and international cooperation in the field of professional training. Our project facilitated the development of an accumulation of entrepreneurial skills both through the interaction of students at the meetings of the CNAM entrepreneurs' club. The levies from the target group from the 10th and 11th grade profile "Technician in economic activities" and those invited from the rural environment together with the VET teachers from technological high schools managed to consistently improve their communication skills and in English, as well as the development of the entrepreneurial spirit through discussions in contradictory but with concrete results of application in real life of the methods of recycling and recovery of waste.

Background

Romania is in the penultimate position in the European ranking for the collection and utilization of waste, which led us to initiate this project and to carry out specific activities that would raise awareness among our students and their families. Meetings were held within the project with the students from the technological branch where they managed to improve their entrepreneurial knowledge as well as the opportunities of running a business in the rural environment. The activities of the CNAM Entrepreneurs' Club had as guests successful businessmen from the county Bistrita-Nasaud who have contributed through their experience to the design of viable business plans. It is very important that these business plans can be applied in real life and the opportunity to run a business with specificity in the circular economy, which would determine obtaining substantial profits for the economic units that apply such business plans but also for the environment, substantially reducing the amount of waste reaching the environment in Romania by transforming waste into a resource. The visit to the companies in Spain remained in the students' memory and represent business models that can be followed .
