The project taught participants to recognize greenwashing and encouraged adolescents to promote sustainability and green projects. While focusing on climate change, youth exchanges and roundtable discussions achieved this purpose. Erasmus+ activities and collaborations in Romania and Hungary sought to develop global alliances, increase youth mobility across Europe, and promote cross-cultural communication and education. Our programme targeted and benefited as many youth and interested people as possible. This was achieved by sharing our dynamic engagement thoughts and findings on social media and other channels. Our efforts yielded positive results; several vlog episodes garnered a minimum of 300 views, indicating significant engagement from our audience. Over fifty interested individuals attended certain roundtable conversations. Thank you for applying to our first Romania-Hungary youth exchanges. We selected a great and diverse group. Beyond our expectations, every episode of our podcasts had over 300 views, and several had over 400. Overachieving our goal, we produced 17 episodes with precise execution. Our youth exchange coordinators and 4-5 specialists empowered kids to confront sustainability issues and build enduring ties.
An appetite for sustainability and environmental initiatives among young people motivated us to apply for the project. We saw the Erasmus+ program as the perfect venue to bring young people and experts together to create awareness and encourage active participation in creating a sustainable future. We conducted in-depth research, and interviews to gain an understanding of the views of young people on sustainability with the primary goal of understanding their interest in sustainability and investigating effective approaches to engage them. With a variety of formats, including podcasts and roundtable talks on many platforms, our project's events and material aims to inspire and engage young people while encouraging their involvement, discourse, and expression of ideas and perspectives. Through Erasmus+, we were able to create international connections between youth and sustainability specialists, which improved our project's long-term effect and strengthened local and worldwide relationships. In an attempt to empower and encourage young people to actively participate in sustainability projects and community actions, the project is dedicated to sustainability and seeks to use its experiences and result to have a lasting impact.
