Background

I applied for this project because, together with our partners, we wanted to expand the opportunities for students, to offer them international experiences and new perspectives on education and career, for the professional development of teachers through exchanges of experience in other countries, which led to the increase of professional skills, for cultural and linguistic exchanges, for the implementation of innovative ideas and the expansion of educational resources, for the conclusion of long-term partnerships and the increase of the educational capacity to benefit from international opportunities for learning and collaboration. The common needs we identified were: 1. the need to develop STEM education; 2. the need to encourage students to study STEM subjects, to improve their basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, science and technology and "key competencies" such as knowledge, skills and attitudes 3. the need for innovative and inclusive teaching approaches for students from different social backgrounds to prevent early school leaving 4. the need for medium and long-term collaboration with our organizations to achieve a real exchange of best practices
