Improve the domain and range of activities of teachers, improve skills and competencies by implementing modern work methods in the segment of career guidance and counseling and deeper implementation of learned skills in school capacities. Improve participants' communication skills, improve environmental awareness and improve problem-solving and project management skills. Upgrade cooperation in the region and share experiences with young people and colleagues from school, in schools of the local community, as well as in schools from the region. Providing support to young people in career selection and opening their perceptions of European society as socially responsible individuals. The project participants are able to recognize the needs of the students and provide them with appropriate information in the field of their career and provide counseling that will help them in their career selection. They implemented the learned knowledge in schools where the dissemination of the project was carried out and expanded and deepened the scope of project implementation in the links of the local community and beyond.
Facing new methods and difficulties caused by the pandemic, teachers felt the need to deepen and expand their knowledge through examples of career guidance and counseling in Slovenia, increasing their knowledge with new techniques and skills that partner schools use. Students face difficulties in finding and changing jobs. It was noted that the selection of a profession is a turning point in the life of young people and that it is necessary to provide them with support in the selection or possible change of affinity. New horizons should be opened to young people - they should be educated in self-awareness, filtering and choosing a career. They should be presented with the possibility - get acquainted with further education prospects or show employment opportunities after finishing high school. The secondary vocational school recognized the difficulties in independent student selection of occupations. Based on the good examples of Erasmus projects implemented in the school, the possibility of improving the school's capacity in the field of career guidance and youth counseling by adding European socially responsible individuals who can contribute to this crucial area of learning was observed.
