By implementing the project, we originally wanted to achieve the improvement of teaching and learning in the field of tourism and hotel technician. This refers to the performance of practical classes in hotel services, specifically service on the floors, in the work of a tourist guide, and all within the European framework, which will lead to the improvement of communication in a foreign language. In this way, we wanted to increase students' competencies related to the profession they are studying for, and train them and prepare them for independent work after completing secondary education. With the acquisition of a certificate of internship abroad, students would assert themselves and become more competitive on the labor market, which would benefit everyone, especially students from vulnerable groups. Considering that the students had training in a place that is extremely attractive for tourists, they had the opportunity to learn how tourist tours are conducted, and also how the hotel services function, which is more difficult to do at the school location. In addition to the above, with contact with the local population, they would additionally develop multicultural awareness, improve their language competences.
