The overall objective of the project was to implement the mobility of learners and staff in order to provide students, trainees, professors, teachers, and administrative staff the opportunity to take part in learning and/or professional experience programs in another country. Creating ample opportunities for outgoing faculty and students to participate in exchange and engaging foreign faculty through incoming mobility opportunities, in order to add an international perspective to study programs and their implementation, the University of Belgrade is yet another step closer to fulfilling the vision of the common European Education Area. The Erasmus+ mobility program has undoubtedly strengthened and enriched the quality and overall performance of the University and expanded the opportunities for students and staff to access specialized training, as well as for acquiring experiences and additional skills for lecturers that go in line with changes of the labor market, and therefore we can expect a positive impact on employability. Additionally, throughout this, and other Erasmus+ projects, the University of Belgrade was able to increase the number of study programs in English. Even though Serbia is not yet an EU member state, by becoming a participant of the Erasmus+ program in 2019 as a fully-fledged member in the newly started program cycle (2021-27/28), the University of Belgrade has come another step closer to the mainstream of academic cooperation in the region and throughout Europe. Furthermore, the University of Belgrade became a partner university in a flagship initiative for universities - European Universities alliance that same year, confirming its commitment to European values and principles of academic excellence, integrity and inclusion.
