Visoka tehnicka skola strukovnih studija Subotica (further referred to by its English name, Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences) implemented this project to provide mobility options for students and staff, in line with its internationalization strategy. The primary goal in terms of student mobilities was to ensure that they would gain international study experience and expand their overall academic, professional, and social skill set. This was achieved through using the allotted outgoing mobility grants as well as welcoming incoming mobile students for study mobility. In terms of staff mobility for teaching, the aim was to broaden the field of cooperation of our institution not based on professional topics, but in reference to our unique bilingual educational structure. The underlying aim in the selection of staff mobility destination was exchange of experience in teaching in a multiethnic setting, in two languages, promoting first and second language use in education and among students to complement English in the drive towards increased internationalization at the home as well as host institution.
