Objectives

Our main purpose with this project is to develop and provide different forms of internships where the students can choose to take part of mobility and spend their internship period in another country but in the same work areas, Elderly care and Social care. Another purpose is that we hope that the possibility of mobility will increase the interest of education in this area, and that young people want to work in the Helth care and Social care area.

Background

The Lundellska school in Uppsala is a public upper secondary school with about 1200 students. The school provides Science programme, Economics programme, Social science programme and Health and Social care programme. The Health and social care programme has for the moment about 150 students. Within our Erasmus project the students in the second year can apply and take part in a project where they can exchange one of their practical periods to Fredrikstad in Norway. There they attend the same activities as they would have in Sweden.
