Participation in Erasmus+ and implementing this project, is vital to MIUNs internationalization and our work towards our strategy goals. Our Action plan for internationalisation, EPS, and recent years work towards EUI status underscore that at MIUN, international cooperation and mobility is a means to enhance the quality of our education, research and societal interaction. Our aim as a university is to foster academic environments that are strong and take on global challenges and to engage in activities on the global arena that fuel and contribute to the development of the region. Another aim that implementing this project help us achieve, is to make knowledge accessible to more people, throughout life, through our research and education. As the only university in the region, MIUN has a unique opportunity to impact and give the surrounding society access to and the opportunity to benefit both from higher education activities, including international activities. Further, during this project period, the results of the 2024 call for EUI initiative was published and the alliance CHALLENGE.EU of which Mid Sweden University is a member was selected. This will further enhance internationalization & the implementation of this project.
