The University of Borås has participated in the Erasmus+ programme for many years, and throughout the programme established and developed strong, long-term partnerships with universities all over Europe. Participation in the Erasmus+ KA131 projects are of great significance to students, staff, and the overall internationalisation and development of the university. By implementing the project, the aim was to equip students with valuable knowledge, skills and experiences, preparing them for living and working in an increasingly globalised world. For staff mobilities, the aim was that participation would contribute to new perspectives and insights through improved competences and networks, leading to increased quality of education and research at the University of Borås and the partner institutions. Receiving incoming participants allowed their presence on campus and within academic courses of our educational programmes to highlight educational, social, cultural and linguistic differences, achieving internationalisation at home for the local students. Through international exchange and cooperation, we sought to exchange knowledge and gain input and inspiration in an inclusive and equitable way.
