Objectives

The Erasmus+ KA103 programme provides exceptional opportunities for learning and knowledge-sharing, with a strong emphasis on the European integration process. In 2021, KMH developed a comprehensive long-term policy for internationalisation, designed to complement the institution's Vision and Goals document. This policy was implemented to highlight the significance of internationalisation at KMH, particularly focusing on the ECHE and the vital role of idea and experience exchange within the European Union. At KMH, this exchange is achieved through music, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and research. KMH's long-term internationalisation policy outlines the goal of increasing student and staff exchanges during the 2021-2027 period. This will be accomplished through intensified marketing efforts, information sessions, and website revisions, as well as by promoting internationalisation at home and short mobility programmes. The project at KMH seeks to strategically integrate internationalisation into all aspects of the institution by fostering staff and mobility exchanges, enhancing information and marketing strategies, and strengthening collaboration with key partners, such as the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
