The Swedish Defence University proposes in its Vision 2030 to be a world leading university in the fields of defence, crisis management and security. Increased internationalization is identified as a key element in the realisation of this general goal of the vision, involving internationalization of all levels of research and education.This will involve enrolling more international students, increased opportunities for teacher and student exchanges, and the recruitment of international teaching staff. This means that internationalization efforts both in education and research is of vital importance and the active participation in the Erasmus+ programme is one important aspect to achieve this.
