Objectives

The mobility project aimed to enhance international engagement for both students and staff, in accordance with our bilateral agreement with Indian Institute och Technology Indore (IITI). This collaboration proved beneficial in improving teaching and learning practices, and in updating and aligning our curricula to better meet academic and industry needs. Joint supervision of student projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels was a central feature of the initiative. This approach facilitated student progression into higher education programs in both partner countries. The joint supervision of student work remained a key aspect of the collaboration throughout the project. Both IITI and UW demonstrated strong and complementary expertise in teaching and research, particularly in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with applications in industrial automation. These areas had developed into core strengths for each institution over the years. The mobility of staff during the project helped foster mutual understanding of teaching methodologies and supported the development of innovative educational practices.
