Objectives

The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project between Malmö University (MAU) and Ilia State University (ISU) was designed to strengthen our shared commitment to internationalization, high-quality education, and societal engagement. Our aim was to contribute to the development of globally minded students and staff who are prepared for lifelong learning and able to act as change agents in a sustainable global society. For Malmö University, international mobility is a central tool in implementing the Strategic Plan 2022 and the Agenda for Global Engagement. The project allowed us to advance this agenda by creating opportunities for students and staff to engage in international learning, exchange knowledge across disciplines, and foster intercultural competences. In doing so, we aimed to integrate global perspectives into education and research, support our multidisciplinary profile, and strengthen our role as a culturally diverse and socially engaged university.
