Objectives

Within the project, we set ourselves 3 goals, that being learning and implementing new methods of work and teaching, inclusion of vulnerable groups of students, and improvement of relationships within individual classes and the collective. The goals set were in line with the challenges we were facing and wanted to address.

Background

We are a primary school that educates students from 6-15 yrs old. We have 18 classes in the mainstream program and 3 combined classes in the program with a lower educational standard last school year, this year we have 4 classes in this program. Currently, 411 students attend our school, 30 of which are from the program with lower educational standard. Since we offer two programs as a school, we also have special pedagogues employed at the school, which further enriches our program and approaches. We are also very active in the local community. We are also part of the international programs ECO School (24 yrs), Healthy School (12 yrs) and Cultural School (11 yrs), and we were also a consortium school for the Challenges of Intercultural Coexistence program (SIMS program). We also organise many clubs at the school, the teachers also use eTwinning, where cooperation with schools from abroad has already been established (e.g. penPal, reading club...). We wanted to do this project due many challenges & changes we have noticed in the generations of students, parents, family life, which became even more apparent after the epidemic.. The epidemic had an important affect on all parties involved within the educational process
