Objectives

With the project, we wanted to get students to learn more often through games and other learning strategies, such as the frontal way of imparting knowledge. With this, we wanted to increase the motivation to learn different subject areas. We wanted to increase the students' learning self-esteem. We also find a greater need for movement among students, which, as a shortcoming, became apparent after the time of distance learning, during the Corona virus. We wanted to increase the physical activity of students during learning at home and lessons at school.

Background

Log - Dragomer Elementary School is an educational system that offers an elementary school program and preschool education. We run a mandatory and extended program. the institution consists of a central school, a branch and a kindergarten. Given that our school is facing a lack of inclusion of play and learning through play in the pedagogical process, face-to-face teaching and learning through transmitted data, we decided to implement the activity of searching for new, fresh ideas in the field of teaching strategies. We decided on the project with the desire to find new ideas, not only within the institution, but also through international cooperation and the search for new ideas, with schools from other European countries. In some departments of our school, especially in the departments of the younger age group, we already carry out concrete activities of learning through play, learning outside the classroom, in nature, learning through movement, which we want to extend to other periods of schooling of students and teaching strategies of teachers.
