Objectives

We aimed to enhance the general and professional competencies, skills, and knowledge of students and staff, which add value to the job market. Through practical training with foreign employers, students acquire interdisciplinary skills, social skills, self-initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and adaptability in different environments. We specifically set the following goals: to raise professional competencies for all programs, develop digital competencies, advance digital transformation, improve communication in a foreign language, promote the professional development of teachers, enhance teacher training, support sustainable development, focus on the environment, and fight climate change. By transferring experiences and best practices from abroad, we ensure an improvement in the quality of education at the school level. We integrate new knowledge into all forms of education that take place both within and outside the school, update curricula, and transfer knowledge to the entire staff. Participation in the project raises the school's reputation and encourages interest in our programs among primary school students, as reflected in increased enrollment. The mobility project also raises awareness of common EU values.

Background

Srednja trgovska in aranžerska šola Ljubljana (The Secondary School for Trade and Design in Ljubljana) educates students for the professions of sales associate, design technician, and economic technician. By participating in an international project, we aimed to provide comparable European knowledge for students and staff. This ensures quality development, the introduction of new knowledge and best practices, and the competence of students and staff. We want our students to become professionals, confident and responsible adults. The experiences and newly acquired knowledge from the mobility projects are integrated into regular classes and shared with students, staff, and other organizations. We follow the needs of the market, economy, and broader society. We constantly try to improve cooperation at local, national, and international levels, and we develop entrepreneurship and internationalization of the school. We foster intercultural dialogue, tolerance, and the inclusion of diverse groups in society, and we strengthen our connections within the European space. We care about sustainable development, implement activities for environmental protection, and expand the activities of the Eco-school program.
