Objectives

With this project, we aimed to achieve the following goals: •Develop professional competencies for careers such as computer, mechanical and economic technician, salesperson, auto mechanic, and mechanical installation installer. •Enhance and improve language competencies: students upgraded their basic foreign language skills with specialized terminology in both the host country's language and English. •Professional development of staff: vocational teachers enhanced their knowledge by gaining insights into foreign work environments and implementing good practices in the domestic workplace. They also improved their language skills in various fields. •Personal growth of student participants, who gained confidence, independence, teamwork skills, responsibility, and intercultural competence. •Inclusion of students with fewer opportunities who are stigmatized due to economic, health, or learning issues. •Promote digital literacy among students and teachers. •Raise student awareness of ecological consciousness, emphasizing the need to seek alternative solutions. •Increase the school's visibility locally and internationally, maintaining connections with companies and raising awareness of school activities through public announcements.

Background

At our school, we strive to ensure high-quality education, and experiences and examples of good practices from abroad are very important. Participation in mobility projects not only allows for the acquisition of practical skills but also fosters personal growth and confidence among participants. Erasmus+ programs have thus become a top priority, as internships abroad add significant value to every profession. We have involved and wish to continue involving students with fewer opportunities and those from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, who would never otherwise afford such experiences. In addition to gaining practical skills, these students also learn about foreign cultures, enriching their intercultural competence. While we encourage employing students locally, we recognize the essential need for foreign language knowledge. Teachers' participation in mobility projects, both as active participants and accompanying persons, brings new knowledge and skills into the school environment, improving and updating teaching methods and content. Through Erasmus+ projects, the school broadens its image in the local business community and beyond, as satisfied participants share their experiences through various media.
