Digital skills and competencesInitial and continuous training for teachers, trainers and other education staffEnterprise, industry, SMEs and entrepreneurship

Objectives

The mobilities addressed five key goals. Primarily, improving professional and linguistic competences and improved use of digital tools, achieved through training and learning in foreign environments, guidance through the digital mobility application and reporting process, and participation in a course on digital marketing. Mobility experience also increased the participants' self-confidence, tolerance, awareness of and openness to diversity of cultures. The experience of living in an urban environment offered new insights into green living. These objectives go hand in hand with our school's priority objectives of developing entrepreneurship and functional literacy. Teachers also aimed to transfer good practices from education, institutions and industry and to integrate them into lessons and work.In addition to practical training in companies and at school, students took part in activities that addressed environmental protection, the use of local assets and digital marketing. For the teachers who teach in these programmes, we have successfully implemented a workplace shadowing and participation in a course on digital marketing.

Background

The Erasmus+ projects we have carried out in the past have proved to be extremely important in helping both students and teachers to acquire professional competences. We therefore wanted to ensure that good practices are continued for future generations and are accessible to as many teachers as possible. Coming from a rural, less developed region, the very experience of travelling, living independently in an urban environment, using public transport and communicating in a foreign language means a lot to us. Add to that the opportunities to do an internship abroad, follow a work placement or attend a course, and the experience is invaluable. Recently, there has been a greater need to know how to use digital tools and English as a language of communication, which is what we have set as our objectives for this project. In addition, we have upgraded our professional soft skills, gained more self-confidence, tolerance and learnt about environmentally friendly solutions, all of which have contributed to the school's visibility and reputation.
