Objectives

Erasmus+ international mobilities provide our students and staff the opportunity to improve practical knowledge and skills adding another standard of experience. The ŠC Celje, Higher Education Institution has planned for the future fair, transparent, inclusive, coherent and blended continuing digital internationalization and modernization for students and staff. In doing so, we oriented our activities to: • encourage and make possible for students and staff to acquire educational, linguistic and cultural experience; • provide for cooperation between higher education institutions to strengthen diverse learning environments and establish and keep environmentally friendly working environment; contribute to the development of highly qualified, internationally experienced young individuals and future experts, widely knowledgeable in understanding tolerance who contribute to the society as its active members and citizens, and nonetheless providing for inclusion of those with fewer opportunities. We have recognized the potential in our students and educational and administrative staff in the number of 4 participants paying attention to include highly motivated, active, tolerant, fair and relevant promoters of digital management and lean technologies caring for green practices, not leaving behind those who need extra care and support and come from less favorable environments. Our certificate of quality has recognized expected results, as follows: - ease of transfer of credit points and automatic recognition of credits completed abroad in Diploma Supplement, - ensuring quality by charging no fees, - keeping students and staff informed about digital mobility management, - providing for recognition of mobility of staff and - promoting our reputation of excellence in teaching and providing students and staff opportunities for upgrading career paths in carrying the role of the ambassadors of the program for the future benefit of the community. Our participation in activities under Key Action 1 is oriented towards high quality mobility of staff and students to, and in cooperation with, HEIs and strategic partners such as enterprises and regional authorities. The HEI mobility and cooperation shall become a more focal element of our institutional policy. In the 21st century, technologically and professionally developed society due to its information connectedness, interdependence and growing economic circumstances requires new practices of education and training. Participation in the Erasmus Program brings the opportunities to reach our objectives in terms of: - developing cooperation with partners in other countries within the framework of our strategy for internationalisation, thus promoting benefits of social inclusion and equal opportunities through increased participation in internationalization scheme, - promoting and supporting student and staff mobility, especially for individuals with fewer opportunities, and further development of non-discrimination policies, - pursuing a policy towards the development of integrated, transnational teaching and training activities (joint courses leading to joint degrees) and in order to access innovative environments to exchange experience, ideas and knowledge, - recognising the importance of the results achieved by staff members engaged in individual mobility or in cooperation projects with strategic partners; - internal monitoring of European and international mobility and cooperation activities to date, thus further improving international performance, - assuring equal and equitable access to mobility opportunities for students and staff from all backgrounds and from backgrounds with fewer opportunities, and - promoting excellence in teaching and training activities via European integration and internationalization. The knowledge, experience and skills acquired by students and staff via mobility shall also contribute towards implementing digital mobility management in line with the technical standards of the European Student Card Initiative. Students and staff shall transfer their expertise in use of digital and information technology. Participating in Key Action 1 for students and staff is for us of vital importance due to the fact that 40% of our educational programs consist of practical training and applicable knowledge acquisition. The ŠC Celje Higher Vocational College is an equal opportunity institution and it offers opportunities to all students and members of staff. We strive for the respect of human rights and assure equality of genders, as well as are members of different social and cultural environments. We also have and support students with special needs or disadvantages and we do not prioritize the mobility within economically or socially more developed societies to others. The fact also is that our students come largely from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds and need sensitive individual patient approach
