For the 17th year, the project has been an effective tool for achieving the vision of the Kranj School Centre "We educate for the professions of the future with modern knowledge and good interpersonal relations between all participants" and the Higher Vocational School "We want to become an excellent school for the professions and society of the future". In doing so, we are pursuing our goals of student-centred and focused studies, effective partnerships for development in a changing world, high graduate employability, financially stable operations, and employee satisfaction and personal growth both domestically and internationally. We are refining the process-based quality system of the project, which we have already established in the past, and we are carefully monitoring the effects of all forms of exchange. We respect the equality statement written in the documents (Vocational College Quality Regulations, our website) and thus also in practice create a working environment that has the greatest possible positive impact on the professional and personal development of students and employees. We spread awareness of the importance of values in achieving our goals, such as diligence, professionalism, responsibility, innovation, ethics, cooperation, honesty, positive attitude, care for the environment. We develop a positive organisational climate for all stakeholders, while respecting human rights and freedoms and respecting the protection of personal data. Belonging to the school, cooperation with the economy and the local environment are important components of our success, and we transfer knowledge that enables their successful integration into the national and global environment. In this respect, the exchange project is one of the important means to achieve our visibility and competitiveness. We measure the positive effects of the exchanges and the high satisfaction of the participants through the criteria for achieving the objectives of international engagement, as set out in the Vocational College Development Strategy. We have in place an effective and field-tested support system for all participants before, during and after the exchange and an efficient system for recognition of achievements abroad, which we are continuously improving. We maintain and nurture existing partnerships and build new ones. Activities in other international projects are transferred to the exchange project and vice versa. In the implementation of the project, we place great emphasis on disseminating the positive effects of the project to the exchange participants, to our institution and to local and global organisations. We encourage both students and staff to participate as intensively as possible in this effective tool to achieve internationalisation and maintain a competitive edge. The project will continue to work towards realising the common vision of EU Member States by developing knowledge, skills and attitudes towards climate change and sustainable development and by supporting integrated institutional approaches to education for sustainable development and social responsibility. We are embracing digitalisation, promoting paperless business. We aim to reach more individuals with fewer opportunities and engage them more effectively in activities, strengthening European identity, active citizenship and participation in democratic life. Participants feel that they have gained personal knowledge and skills and will be able to transfer these effectively to the local and global environment. In particular, students gain valuable professional experience and high functional skills and, as employees of companies, they represent a valued innovative workforce for the needs of the economy at local and global level.
