We designe our project very ambitiously, because in some actions of the new program period 2021-27 we saw excellent opportunities for even better internationalization of our institution, especially with blended intensive programs-BIPs. After the extremely successful intensive program in 2013, we were looking for opportunities to do something similar, and BIP seemed like a great opportunity. We have also set an ambitious goal of cooperation with institutions outside the EU. We reported: - 25 grants for practice - 6 grants for study - 5 grants for teaching - 5 grants for training We also planned 2 blended intensive programs, each with 30 participants. With agreement 2022-1-SI01-KA131-HED-000057524, we received funds for: - 18 grants for practice - 5 grants for studies - 4 grants for teaching - 4 grants for training -1 KIP for 15 participants. ACTUAL PROGRESS OF THE PROJECT: Due to the large percentage of unused funds on the project from the tender year 2021, we started to use the budget on this project with a delay (only in May 2023). The first mobility carried out was the mobility staff trining. We planned to implement the Blednded Intensive Program in September 2023. We have already signed agreements in the EWP, announced experts, prepared a program and booked accommodations. Unfortunately, there were cancellations and we were unable to reach the number of 15 participants, so it was necessary to postpone the BIP. Nevertheless, we managed to attract some foreign experts, also some foreign participants (doctoral students on short-term mobility) and we organized an interesting Erasmus week for our and foreign students with our lecturers and foreign experts. We also managed to send 3 lecturers to a training activity. Since we realized with the project from the tender year 2021 that students very rarely have the courage for long-term mobility, we quickly realized that we will not be able to use all the funds available for student mobility. We were doing much better with the staff, so already in January 2024 we requested to change the agreement and to transfer funds from the students item to the staff item. We requested a transfer of EUR 20.000. The change was approved and with the annex we redistributed the funds as follows: - 5 mobilities for study (long-term) - 8 mobility for practice (long-term) - 4 mobilities for teaching - 14 mobilities for training. At the autumn school and at the meeting of the community of Higher Professional Schools, we got an insight into examples of good practices in the organization of short-term combined mobility. Together with the school management and representatives of the lecturers, we decided to try to motivate students with short-term mobility, since only 2 applications for long-term mobility for practice until December 2023 (practical training in the 2nd year and 1 young graduate) arrived. So we managed to carry out 51 mobilities: - unfortunately, we were unable to implement study mobility - we realized 33 mobility of students for practice - 11 mobility of staff for training - 7 mobility of staff for teaching - BIP with 16 foreign participants With the project, we really tried to enable the experience of mobility for all our students, which we succeeded in promoting short-term mobility, as most of our students took part in the mobility. Unfortunately, there are so few students (in 2023/24, we enrolled 13 photographers and no material designers, and we are in danger of canceling the program). We really wanted to implement BIP and we finally succeeded. We established contacts with new institutions and strengthened connections with long-term partners. We believe that this project was very successful, as it connected students and staff due to the blended short term mobility and the BIP.
