Objectives

The Erasmus+ programme, with its key action of individual mobility, is an essential part of the internationalization of the Higher Professional School, which is one of the important elements of the school's mission and the Erasmus+ Charter for Tertiary Education. It is also an important part of the Institute's Long-Term Development Programmme 2023 - 2027. Not only did we want to achieve an increased quality of educational programmes, comparable to the best schools in Europe and beyond, but we actually want to offer students and employees the best opportunities to learn about international cooperation and operations. Mobility enables individuals to improve learning competences, increase employability and employment opportunities, increase self-initiative and entrepreneurship, increase self-confidence and self-esteem, improve knowledge of foreign languages and digital competences, more active participation in society, strengthening positive interaction with people from different backgrounds, better knowledge of EU projects and EU values, increasing motivation for further education (formal and informal) and training after mobility. The emphasis at the higher professional school is on practical education, so we want to achieve the highest possible quality of its implementation, and abroad offers plenty of opportunities to achieve these goals. It has been our wish for several years to carry out mobility for study, and in this project we succeeded in doing so, as for the first time in the school's history we carried out short-term intensive blended mobility for study. We also wanted to achieve more mobility for individuals with fewer opportunities and partially succeeded in doing so. In this project, we wanted to strengthen European identity, active citizenship and participation in democratic life. The participants believe that they did not acquire this, but they gained personal knowledge and skills and will be able to effectively transfer them to the local and global environment. In particular, students gain valuable professional experience and high functional skills, and as employees in companies they represent a valuable innovative workforce for the needs of the economy at the local and global level.
