Alma Mater Europaea institutions (European Center, Maribor, Academy of Dance, and Fakulteta za humanistični študij - Institutum Studiorum Humanitis) participate in the Erasmus+ program as a consortium. This plays a key role in fostering international collaboration, facilitating the exchange, enhancement and application of professional knowledge across their study programs, which cover fields such as healthcare, social gerontology, archival science, dance arts, humanities, and others. Aligned with their vision of internationalization, through the Erasmus+ program institutions of Alma Mater Europaea are committed to providing students and staff with excellent mobility opportunities by partnering with high-quality academic institutions and lecturers from abroad. Participation in this program promotes long-term, high-quality cooperation with higher education institutions (HEIs), companies, and lecturers, enabling engagement in international scientific research projects, organizing international conferences, and disseminating new knowledge locally and globally. Additionally, inclusion in the Erasmus+ program helps Alma Mater Europaea fulfill its vision of addressing economic-technological, health and socio-political, ecological, and intercultural challenges in the regions where they operate, through strategic and applied development. As an open academic community, they collaborate with partners on projects aimed at economic and technological development, peace, and democracy, contributing to the reintegration of Europe. In line with its Erasmus+ policy, Alma Mater Europaea also aims to support Balkan and non-EU countries by sharing European expertise and practices through joint research, projects, and education initiatives.
