The University of Nova Gorica (UNG) pursued, within this project, the goal of establishing sustainable and high-quality cooperation with higher education institutions in partner countries. Building on earlier collaborations, UNG identified shared priorities and complementary needs, providing a strong basis for reinforcing cooperation in education and research. The partnership focused mainly on natural sciences and engineering, environmental protection, and viticulture and enology, complemented by the arts. This interdisciplinarity reflects UNG’s strategy of addressing global and regional challenges through integrated approaches. The project further aimed to ensure high-quality education and training for students and to strengthen the competences of academic and administrative staff. The involvement of international experts in teaching and research was an important added value, enhancing knowledge transfer, visibility, and research excellence. The collaboration produced tangible results, confirmed by joint publications and presentations, while also generating new initiatives.
