One of the main objectives of the project is using storytelling and creative theatre as a tool for education, learning support, socialization and integration. The main story developed in the process is the human relation to nature, integrating the different period of times of life on earth and human civilization and its influence on climate changes. We decided on the Tree in Time project due to the desire to expand the institute's operations to an international level, including a partner organization with which we were already included in the previously announced, but unselected STORRYTELLING FOR THE FUTURE project. One of the priorities of the Maribor Institute for Visual and Performing Arts Research is the introduction of creative theater methodology into the curriculum of schools. We achieved this through the production of the digital film A TREE IN TIME, which summarizes the 7th grade history curriculum and adds a critical perspective on modern environmental issues.
