The theme delt with in the project was covering all of the above mentioned goals: - Green tourism - to promote green and smart tourism in the local environments of individual partner organizations - Waste-free cooking - to find solutions by following the principles of »zero« waste - Waste as a business gift – to give wasted materials a new story, new usefulness and added value by recycling and reusing them.
The partnership of the project was formed by three schools for catering and tourism so we found the the theme of the project oriented towards a development of a carbon-free society very interesting. We are aware of the problem of wasted food, mass tourism and waste which could be transformed in a new product. That was also the reason of our orientation towards the problems which we are dealing with most frequently in schools for catering and tourism. Thus the goal of our project was finding solutions to the above problems with green tourism, waste-free cooking and circular economy - gifts made from waste materials.
