Objectives

The main aim was to transform the local community into a more youth-friendly and, above all, more supportive environment. The objectives were and remain: 1. To better understand the needs, problems and interests of young people. 2. To lead the process of dialogue with decision makers in the local community to the point where a Youth Strategy for the Municipality of Litija will be adopted. 3. To create and maintain a physical space for young people to spend their leisure time, which will be visited by at least 50 young people per week (at the end of the programme period). 4. To create a cross-sectoral programme of non-formal education for active citizenship of teenagers in their own local environment, involving at least: - 15 young people in the school years 2021/2022 and 2022/23 - 30 young people in all subsequent school years. 5. Retain 70% of the young people who participate in the cross-sectoral non-formal education programme for active teenage citizenship in their own local environment. 6. To design activities and involve 10 new young people each year from the target groups 18-24 or 25-30. 7. To provide support to other organisations in the Municipality of Litija in their work with young people. To establish partnerships with at least eight organisations from different sectors that will actively address the challenges described above. 8. Continuous training of youth workers in youth work. We want to create competent youth workers who will regularly upgrade their competences. Therefore we want to organise 2 training courses per year for youth workers. 9. Developing and setting up new educational programmes in nature. 10. Supporting sustainable projects and raising awareness.
