The goal of the youth exchange was the discovery of cultural heritage and the development of digital competences among young people, and based on this, the search for entrepreneurial ideas. In the project "Old traditions, new ideas", in which 32 young people and youth leaders from Slovenia, Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania were involved, the aim was to make young people aware of the existing wealth in the countryside, to provide them with the skills to recognize business opportunities in the countryside and develop an idea. One of the biggest effects of this is that, after the end of the project, we young people are able to identify and develop business ideas in the countryside for themselves and also for other people in the countryside. In addition, we are capable to help other marginalized young people and encourage them to create other businesses in the countryside.
