Objectives

With this project, we enabled young people with fewer opportunities to integrate into society, as we learned through the members of our organization that many of their peers belong to this group. By carrying out the activity, we enabled them to meet new peers and to learn about other countries, as many of them live in villages, which they rarely leave alone, as the connection with public transport there is poor or non-existent. We have also noticed that in the past two years, the coronavirus and the quarantine have alienated us from each other. Through the activities, we created an environment where we brought the participants closer together and enabled them to establish new contacts with their peers from Slovenia and other countries, thus enabling them to have a broader view of European cultures. We also taught them to accept mutual and cultural diversity and be more tolerant of each other. In the past two years, the coronavirus has not only alienated us, but also forced us to use new digital competences (e.g. lessons, remote work), so we also gave the participants new competences in this area, which will be useful to them in everyday life and later in employment. We also put a lot of effort into raising awareness about climate change and the problems of global warming, which is why we put emphasis on this topic as well. We made young people aware of the problem of global warming and caring for the planet, and showed and taught them how they can contribute to the common goal. The main objectives for the project were: -> to face the problem of the diversity of young people and their acceptance in society and to improve their acceptance in society and the surrounding area, -> to encourage young people to become active citizens during the European Year of Youth -> show young people the impact of youth exchanges on youth development, -> we develop the European affiliation of young people, -> encourage young people to use digitization and introduce them to the usefulness of ICT technology, -> we carry out a youth exchange in the care of a clean environment and as little plastic as possible. -> Make the camp waste-free and prepare a waste collection point for later recycling, -> We develop environmental awareness and teach young people how to reduce climate change, -> we develop concern for healthy drinking water and rational consumption of drinking water in the participants. -> develop socialization skills among young people and make friends, -> Improve communication in foreign languages and acceptance of cultural diversity.
