In implementing the project, our objectives were multifaceted. We wanted to empower young people to identify their strengths, sources of empowerment and find practical ways to contribute to their surroundings. We wanted to provide them with practical skills for a sustainable and green life (from gardening to food preservation and natural cosmetics) and to contribute to raising awareness in the use of technology. We wanted to achieve this in a 10-day exchange programme, where we invited participants not to use technology. In the 10 days we spent without technology (apart from a short optional daily technology time breaks), we wanted to promote self-expression, reflection of the current society and our individual experiences as well as our strong points. At the same time we wanted them to develop their relationship with the environment in a tangible way, which also enabled participants to live in an environmentally friendly environment and way of living. The project also included the idea of project seeds "seed projects", i.e. projects created by participants in exchange and then implemented in smaller groups in their cities/home environments. These projects were designed so that participants could share what they had learned during that time. For example, they could organise an event to cleanse a forest waste area or create a system for exchanging objects that are often not used in their neighbourhood. In doing so, we hoped that participants would practically experience the contribution they could make in their surroundings and shared their learnings with many other people who either participated in the "seed project" or read about it in the media or on social media. We believe that bringing forward opportunities for greener and more sustainable life to individuals creates greater opportunities for more harmonious life with nature on this planet.
