Objectives

With this project, we wanted to develop and promote ways to introduce changes in youth work and in the lives of young people, which tend towards greater inclusion and support for the underprivileged, and thus towards a more holistic development of an equal society and greater balance both at the level of the holistic health of individuals, the coexistence of diversity and healthy working relationships than at the level of balancing relationships between individuals and the environment. We advocated the importance of support in those areas that are weaker or overlooked, and in this way we wanted to stimulate the necessary changes on all three levels - individual/society/environment - and thus the optimal development of a society that leaves no one behind. We especially focused on young people with fewer opportunities and encouraged their constructive involvement in youth work and active and aware citizenship. We wanted to co-create and share ways to redirect the energy of dissatisfaction with certain aspects of society among young people to support better alternatives and allow their imagination to imagine possible new practices of action based on an inclusive society, the formation of supportive communities, the deepening of interpersonal ties and on environmental awareness and sustainable development. Among these methods, we devoted ourselves to somatic practices, which address the entire way of life of individuals and society through the physical body, and create a basis for environmental awareness of our actions and activities through a deeper awareness of ourselves and the environment. We emphasized the importance of nurturing healthy relationships and creating close ties of support within the local and wider international community, as improved quality and efficiency of mutual integration contribute both to a more inclusive society and to a reduction in consumption. We encouraged environmentally friendly and innovative methods of holistic learning and personal development in youth work. We also devoted ourselves to thinking about possible ecological orientations that partners can introduce into their operations. We also encouraged the international dimension of youth work, intercultural dialogue, respect for cultural diversity and solidarity on the part of young people, and to act against xenophobia, racism, discrimination and intolerance. We achieved this by choosing partners from different European countries and cultural backgrounds. Our goal was to increase the motivation of young people so that they are capable of creating constructive ways of dealing with the topics of holistic personal development of individuals, inclusion and support of weak groups, social equality and establishing greater balance in society and the environment. Our main purpose was the active application of this kind of behavior and attitude of young people in their everyday life, in the functioning of their organizations and spreading these views among colleagues and friends. Our long-term goal was to promote European cooperation in the field of young people, develop their new educational perspectives, visions for professional development and key competencies for work in the areas of social inclusion, ecological awareness, creation of active communities and improvement of quality of life. In this way, we contributed to building the capacity of youth organizations of civil society and encouraged the improvement of the quality of youth projects, while also promoting active citizenship and the involvement of young people in political and democratic life.
