By implementing the project, we aimed to achieve three objectives: 1) Enhancement of automation and utilization of technical tools. 2) Preparation for professionalization. 3) Improvement of management of activists and program volunteers.
We applied for the project as an international, small, virtual, nonprofit, fully voluntary organization supporting volunteers in creating and disseminating Open Educational Resources ("OER") through Wikimedia projects (Wikipedia and its sister projects). The project fits into the context of the need to increase the impact of our activities in supporting further creation and dissemination of free educational resources, thereby contributing to the development of a knowledge society.
