In the project "Enough with the theory" we focused on the exploration of two European education systems that are often cited as exemplary: the Finnish and the Portuguese. The aim was to gain inspiration for the further work of the Inclusion Centre experts and to gain the necessary insights into well-functioning systems that could be transferred to our conditions. The aim was to bring to Slovak schools proven practice from the Finnish education system through innovative courses for teachers and thus improve the quality of education with a broad impact and long-term perspective. We adjusted this goal during the implementation and our second trip with a larger extended team was to Portugal.

This is also why we have a strong focus on skills at the Inclusion Centre and bring in experiential and hands-on learning. We need to develop more in how we creatively and innovatively convey inclusive principles and innovations in education. We need to bring innovative learning that will improve the skills and knowledge of teachers in the light of the needs required by practice and the future of the country. It is with this need in mind that we set out to seek inspiration in European countries
