Objectives

The project had two main goals. The first goal was to develop pupils' soft skills for working in a multilingual environment, improving their language skills with an emphasis on accepting diversity in the European space. Through working in an international environment, we developed language skills in German and English, the ability to think creatively and critically, to be independent and to work in a multicultural team. We also improved the students' soft skills so that they could manage their work and solve problems in cooperation with partners. The goal was to achieve a better degree of flexibility, self-discipline, team management, project management and respect for the differences of partners. The second goal was the further education of teachers in the field of innovative teaching methods with an emphasis on improving competences in the field of student education and with an emphasis on improving their language skills. This follows on from the focus on the progress of innovative teaching methods, such as cooperative teaching, the method of active research, project teaching in approved subjects and teaching using the CLIL method, opening up to the European space in the field of methodology, didactics, pedagogy and expertise.

Background

The mission of our school is to raise and educate a creative student with his own opinion and a positive approach to life, who is open to accepting the challenges he has to face in life. Part of education and training is to develop in students a sense of Europeanness, belonging to the European Union. We developed and perfected this affiliation also through our project. The project included activities and visits to EU countries - Germany, Poland, Romania, Italy, Ireland and France. The goal of our efforts is to build a modern European school, which is a center of top education, upbringing, culture and sports, which includes regular student and teacher internships in EU countries. The mission is fulfilled by teachers who constantly improve their professional profile, improve their language and professional didactic competences. The goals of the project were the mobility of school employees in training institutions, where they were educated in various areas and competencies, thereby improving and advancing the profile of the school in the region, and group mobility of students contributing to the development of students' soft and language skills. All these activities contribute to the achievement of the goal of being a top educationa
