By implementing this project, I wanted to connect different cultures by getting to know each other and spending free time. All four countries are different, but at the same time we can also find common features. And that was our goal. Finding the common and learning to tolerate the different. The goal was also to observe lessons at another school in a foreign country and compare their school system with ours. We observed the use of digital aids in class and were inspired by this to introduce it here as well. It was not only the teachers who observed the lessons, but also the students. This allowed them to enter the world of their peers even more. This project was created on the basis of our eTwinning project Building Bridges Creatively and that inspired us to do such an Erasmusplus project. The goal was also for young people to tolerate other cultures, obtain information and thus understand and understand the nation. The goal was also to lead students to a democratic way of life. Thanks to job shadowing, we wanted our teaching staff to observe ICT in the classroom and thus be inspired and improve their lessons and include more digital aids in their lessons.
This project is oriented towards connecting different cultures, searching for similar and different signs and traditions. We chose this topic based on the eTwinning project Building Bridges creatively, which was extremely interesting for the students. Our school is relatively small in a small town where not many foreigners live. It is therefore very important that students learn about other nations, cultures or religions and thus learn mutual understanding, tolerance and acceptance. Our project also concerns digital skills and the use of ICT in lessons, especially teachers who participated in job shadowing. Their goal was to observe new methods, the use of ICT in various subjects, a discussion with teachers from a partner school and the creation of teaching material for their subject.
