The aim of our project was to achieve several important aspects for our students. Our aim was to provide our students with work experience in an international environment so that they could gain experience in real working conditions. We wanted to allow our students to build international relationships and gain the opportunity to exchange experiences and working practices in different workplaces. In addition, we aimed to gain skills that they couldn't acquire at our school. We focused on the areas of MIG welding and electrical wiring, where we wanted to give them the opportunity to practice and gain experience in real work environments. Another aim was to strengthen their ability to act independently in social and working life. We wanted to motivate them to develop self-esteem and responsibility through participation in mobility. We believe that this experience would give them confidence and self-belief in their future involvement in the work environment. In addition, we were interested in broadening our students' language skills and enriching them with professional terminology in the Hungarian language. We wanted to support the development of their vocabulary and their ability to communicate in an international environment.
Stredná odborná škola (technical secondary school) - Műszaki Szakközépiskola, Bratislavská cesta 10, Komárno, is a legal entity established by the Nitra Self-Governing Region and primarily provides secondary vocational education in Slovak and Hungarian languages. Our partner organisation has a rich experience in implementing various projects and has established partnerships with a few European countries, including Malta and Finland for instance. We have been cooperating with them for 12 years within Erasmus+ - KA1 and they act as a host school helping us implement mobility for our students every year, and they also choose us as the host organization for their projects.
