Objectives

We could divide the implementation of the goals of this project into two levels, namely pupils and teachers. The first level of the project - pupils were concerned with the set sub-goals: 1. to increase the connection of professional, digital and language knowledge with their practical activities and experiences in the environment of foreign companies and organizations, and 3. to increase the soft competences of pupils. The second level of the project - teachers, was implemented through the sub-goal: 2. to increase the quality of pupils' education through education of teachers. These three sub-goals contributed to increased professional, practical, digital and language competences of pupils and teachers. The knowledge gained was used to innovate the School Education Program, curriculum and update the educational plans of selected subjects. The updated curriculum and increased competence of teachers made it possible to increase the quality of education of pupils, their learning performance, improve motivation to learn, support creativity, improve language skills, increase communication, social and cultural competences, thereby fulfilling the main goal of the mobility to increase the applicability of pupils on the labour market.

Background

For almost 30 years, our school has been providing secondary vocational education completed by the school leaving exam. Our organization is aware of the importance of practical teaching, which is why it has been involved in dual education since 2019. This form of study allows students to actively participate in the working and informal life of companies throughout their studies. Students gain valuable experience and skills in multinational companies, state institutions and private companies. Thanks to the Erasmus + program, the portfolio of employers has also expanded abroad. Our school submitted a project for the purpose of improving students' competencies that would increase their application in the current and future labour market throughout Europe. To deepen these competences among students, it was important that teachers also increase their qualifications and expertise, so that they can work individually and approach the needs of individual students. An important element in the educational process is to connect the knowledge acquired at school with their practical application, which will be enabled by the implementation of this mobility project. The project followed on previous calls and mobilities.
