The main aim of the project was to give students the opportunity to further develop their professional knowledge and language competences. The secondary goal was to provide the possibility of a foreign internship for students and to gain an overview and experience on how they can use their professional knowledge in real conditions and how to quickly and flexibly adapt to the current requirements of the labor market. Also, the goal was to guide the students to become independent, to handle hitherto unknown situations and to increase their self-confidence.
The project follows the educational activities of our school. Since we are a secondary vocational school, students of knowledge gained during the professional internship also use in their subsequent professional life. Professional internship in this form is more intensive than practical teaching at school. With this grant, we wanted to develop the knowledge, skills and competences of students in their professional life, as well as their language competences. Projects of this type also greatly help in motivating other students.
