The main goal of the project for the participants - students - is to increase the quality and attractiveness of their studies and improve the acquired knowledge and skills. Better knowledge and skills help students in their further studies and improve their career options. The goal of the project for the participants - teachers and employees - is the development of skills necessary for their work at the university, especially in the area of the development of the internationalization of the university and teaching in the English language. From the point of view of the participants, both students and employees, the acquisition of experience with studying abroad and working in international teams, as well as strengthening of the European identity of the participants, is an equally important goal. The goal of the project from the institution's point of view is to increase the quality of education and research at the university through better internationalization of the university and deepening cooperation within the ENLIGHT alliance, a European university of which the university is a part. The long-term development plan of the university includes 5 goals in the field of international cooperation: to expand the degree of involvement of CU workplaces in international academic mobility programs; actively promote study opportunities at the UK not only at home, but also abroad; create conditions for studying in foreign languages, especially in English; create joint, primarily doctoral study programs with renowned foreign universities; and maintain the membership of the UK in important international academic organizations. Participation in the Erasmus+ program is therefore crucial for the UK in terms of the long-term sustainability of the quality level of education.
