The main objective of the implementation of the project No. 2022-1-SK01-KA131 -HED-000059183 was to build on previous successful Erasmus+ mobility projects implemented at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and thus to provide a foreign mobility experience to all students and staff interested in mobility, in accordance with the rules of the ECHE Charter. We have managed to achieve this positive trend. The aim of the students' mobility in this project was, besides the study experience at a foreign university, mainly to develop their professional, multicultural, social and communication skills, to find and strengthen their own values, identity and sense of belonging to a certain community and last but not least to test and improve their language skills. Involving teaching staff in multicultural groups allows for an exchange of ideas on content and forms of teaching, deepening curriculum discussion with international partners, both from academia and practice, and thus helping to achieve international standards. We believe that an active approach to one's own lifelong learning, training and active participation in research activities helps individuals to enhance their professional, linguistic, social and intercultural skills.
