Objectives

The global aim of the project was to improve the quality, modernization, internationalization, and international competitiveness of educational and research processes at J. Selye University (UJS), thereby creating a more dynamic, engaged, and professional environment within the university. In terms of internationalization, we focused on activities aimed at building the university's international reputation, integration into prominent international associations, establishing new partnerships, and supporting international mobility for UJS students and staff. The knowledge and skills acquired through these mobility programs contributed to the personal and professional development of the participants, which also supports the development of European society and the promotion of values such as respect and empathy. One of the key goals of the project was to promote equality of opportunity and access, inclusion, diversity, and fairness within the program, ensuring that everyone had the chance to gain international experience and education. Through extensive promotion of the project, we ensured equal opportunities for participation in mobility programs for people with disabilities and those with fewer opportunities. The procedures and conditions implemented ensured and supported the safety, protection, and non-discrimination of participants in the activities. The project also contributed to environmental protection by developing participants' environmental and digital skills and promoting eco-friendly travel. In terms of digital transformation, we focused on utilizing virtual collaboration (participation in BIPs) and implementing digital technologies from the Erasmus+ program (Dashboard, OLA, Erasmus+ App). Emphasis was also placed on promoting pragmatic collaboration and intercultural dialogue between different cultures and societies. A priority was to support the development of participants' language skills through language support (OLS). Another goal was to strengthen the link between education and research by encouraging PhD. students to participate in short-term mobility programs, where they gained intercultural and research skills. The mobility programs helped strengthen social and economic ties and enhanced the participants' opportunities to establish themselves in the European labor market. To achieve higher quality in the preparation, implementation, monitoring, and follow-up actions of EU projects, indicators were established for measurement, such as surveys assessing the satisfaction of students and staff regarding the quality of support during mobility, and a risk matrix to reduce risk factors among host companies in the area of internships. In this context, monitoring visits were also conducted at receiving companies. Our intention was to ensure the recognition of competencies, skills, and qualifications (Europass, ECTS, Certificate) for participants upon their return and to involve them in local activities (informational and support activities) to maximize their experiences and encourage them to publish results, as well as to motivate future participants. During the implementation of the project, EU values were fully respected, including respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and adherence to human rights, including the rights of minorities, in accordance with the values and rights enshrined in EU treaties and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU.
